As owner and cofounder of Paladin Wealth Partners, Pat is responsible for an array of essential matters. In addition to leading his team’s asset allocation and investment committee, Pat focuses on investment management and retirement planning.
Pat’s CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification demonstrates his specialized knowledge in individual and family financial planning with an emphasis on retirement income planning, education planning and estate planning. Pat also has extensive experience working closely with business owners to implement qualified retirement plans, as well as succession planning and liquidity events. Pat’s greatest goal is for clients to trust him and his team with every matter that money touches. He believes they are their clients’ Paladin – a defender of a noble cause – and can think of no nobler cause than working with their clients’ wealth and well-being in mind.
Pat began his career in the financial planning field in 1990 by accepting a position at Merrill Lynch as a wealth management advisor, and eventually reaching the role of vice president. In 2008, after 18 years with Merrill Lynch, Pat joined UBS Financial Services, Inc., as senior portfolio manager, wealth advisor and first vice president. In 2018, he proudly joined Raymond James.
A graduate of Fitchburg State University, Pat holds a B.S. in business administration, which he earned while working full time and serving in the U.S. Army Reserve, and an MBA. In addition to his academic experience, Pat devoted over 21 years to active military service.
Pat has long been involved with East Longmeadow Rotary and Longmeadow Rotary clubs, serving as a past president and director of both. He’s been a member of the nonprofit Rotary International since 1990 and serves as the director of the East Longmeadow Rotary Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc. since 1992.
Community service is of utmost importance to Pat, who has served as an honorary deputy sheriff at the Hampden County Sheriff’s Office for seven years and coaches numerous youth sports teams. He’s also an active member of Saint Mary’s Church, of the Ludlow Fish & Game Club and of the American Legion.
Originally from Leominster, Massachusetts, Pat lives in Longmeadow with his wife, Denise. Together, they have three daughters: Caitlin, a hospital administrator; Patricia, a pediatric/psychiatry nurse; and Alison, a financial advisor at Paladin Wealth Partners. Pat and Denise also have two German Shepherds. When he’s not at the office or spending time with his family, Pat enjoys staying active through any and all outdoor activities as well as reading about history.
