Kara began her career in the financial services industry in 2010 and joined Raymond James in 2013 at the Southfield home office, working in the Customer Accounts department. Her dedication and expertise quickly earned her promotions, including roles as a Margin Specialist and Lead Trainer. In October 2016, Kara became a valued member of our team, where she continues to provide exceptional support and service to our clients.

In 2024, Kara furthered her professional development by earning both the Series 7 and Series 63 licenses, demonstrating her commitment to excellence and continued growth in the industry.

Kara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. Originally from Washington state, then Phoenix, Arizona, she relocated to Michigan in 2013 with her husband, Chris, and their son, Nathanael. They currently reside in Clinton Township.

Outside of work, Kara is an active volunteer with her son's Boy Scout troop, where her dedication was recognized with the Ray of Light award. She also enjoys a variety of creative hobbies, including cooking, baking, gardening, sewing, and crafting—often entering her handmade creations in the local county fair.
