Background and Experience

For nearly three decades, Josh Shulman has guided clients toward achieving their personal financial goals with clarity and confidence. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from the University of Florida. Joshua continued his professional education by earning his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ® professional certification. Recognizing early on the need for specialized financial guidance during life’s major transitions, Josh pursued advanced education in divorce financial planning, domestic partnership advising, and strategies for aligning investments with personal values.

His commitment to helping individuals understand their options and make informed decisions became the foundation of his practice and areas of specialization.

Josh is deeply engaged in local government and the business community, having served in numerous leadership roles:

• President, Five Points Neighbors Association (2019–Present)

Personal Interests

Born in El Paso, Texas, Josh spent his early years in New Jersey and Pennsylvania before settling in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he lives with his wife, son and two golden doodles.

Outside of work, Josh is a professional scuba diver, having served nine years as a Dive Master at the Florida Aquarium, and he is also a licensed private pilot. On weekends, you’ll often find him poolside officiating for USA Swimming. When he’s not in the air or underwater, Josh enjoys tackling his ever-evolving Honey-Do list, working within his community and spending time with his family.
