For nearly three decades, Josh Shulman has partnered with individuals and families to help them align their financial lives with what matters most. His approach is rooted in thoughtful analysis, clear communication, and an appreciation for the emotional realities that influence financial decision-making. Whether working through a life transition, designing a long-term strategy, or helping clients articulate their goals, Josh focuses on balancing disciplined planning with genuine empathy.
Josh holds a B.A. in International Business and Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from the University of Florida. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. To better support clients navigating divorce, partnership changes, and other sensitive transitions, Josh also completed the education programs behind the CDFA™ and ADPA® curricula—training that continues to inform his work, even though he no longer maintains the designations.
Josh has served in several leadership roles including President of the Leadership St. Pete Alumni Association, Board Member of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, Chair of the City’s International Relations Committee, Citizen Representative on the PSTA Board, Member of the Pinellas County Charter Review Commission, and President of the Five Points Neighbors Association
Outside the office, Josh lives in St. Petersburg with his wife, their son, and two golden doodles. He spent nine years as a Divemaster at the Florida Aquarium, is a licensed private pilot, officiates for USA Swimming, and enjoys staying active in local civic life.
