Philosophy

When forming Sherpa Wealth Partners we wanted to capture in our name the true essence of what we strive to do for our clients every day. Your Goals, Our Guidance is truly our mission. While investment management is a very important part of the process, guiding you through your personal journey involves so much more. Our role is to be your financial Sherpa, to apply our expertise, experience, and skill in helping you navigate your journey. It is our job to learn about your needs, wants, and concerns; to help you understand your financial options and then to guide you so that you can make a fully informed decisions that fits your specific situation and personality.

As your guide, we will always help you understand the big picture, learn about your options, and make confident financial decisions.

You can go it alone, but at Sherpa Wealth Partners, you don’t have to.

Professional Background

Pamela has been helping her clients prepare for retirement and other financial goals for almost 20 years. She is honored to be the advisor for three generations for some of her client families. Pamela earned an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Edison State College in Ohio. After working as a controller and internal auditor for several years she went back to school and graduated magnum cum laude from Park University in Park, KS with her Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management. She went on to do her graduate studies at Central Michigan University. Pamela worked for 15 years in the health care industry, first as the business manager and consultant for surgical groups and later as the CEO of the McCullough- Hyde Hospital Physicians Group in Ohio.

Pamela moved to Florida in 1996 and started her career as a Financial Advisor with Prudential Securities. She continued in the same branch with Prudential Securities and the acquiring firms of Wachovia Securities and Wells Fargo Advisors until 2016. In 2016 Pamela felt it was in the best interest of her clients for her to be an independent advisor. She, and her partner Joshua Shulman, founded Sherpa Wealth Partners, and are aligned with Raymond James Financial Services. This move better aligns with her values to give individualized, independent financial services to best serve her clients.

Pamela is certified by The National Center For Women and Retirement Research, Long Island University to conduct educational forums for women on investing. She is available to speak to groups of pre-retirees and retirees on issues including, social security strategies, Long Term Care Funding, and retirement income strategies.

Personal & Civic

On the personal side, Pamela, who is originally from the Dayton Ohio area has lived in Palm Harbor, FL with her husband, Bob, for almost 20 years. They have two grown sons, Christopher, who lives in Savannah, GA and John, who lives in St. Petersburg, FL. They share their home with beagle mixes Jack and Ben. There is also at least one foster beagle in residence at all times! They are also very proud of their grand puppies, Beasley, Molly and Charlie.

Pamela and her husband Bob are very involved with Tampa Bay Beagle Rescue as volunteers and foster parents. Over the last few years they have fostered over 40 dogs who have gone on to their adoptive families. Pam enjoys traveling, is a long time yogi, gardener and avid reader.
