Mitchel’s passionate and energetic approach to financial planning comes from a deep-rooted love of problem-solving for others. He specializes in providing support for clients who are looking to build long-term financial plans designed to yield long term fulfillment. Mitchel’s customers include some of Skotynsky Financial’s oldest and deepest client relationships, but he has also shown a great deal of value to newer and younger clients who are embarking on their journey toward their desired financial lifestyle. Mitchel seeks to educate his clients about their options and provides a highly personalized approach to custom financial planning.

Mitchel’s structured background in finance reflects his steady and disciplined approach to planning. Mitchel graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with concentrations in Financial Planning and Analytical Finance. Mitchel has always maintained a sharp focus on finding and seizing business opportunities to accelerate his professional growth. During his time at school, he served as the Managing Director of a student-run portfolio known as the Summit Fund. He also served as a Board Member of the Student Fee Review Board, which oversaw the allocation of $57 million in student fees. Mitchel’s passion for professional involvement has carried into his career as a financial advisor through his active participation as the current President of the Rotary Club of Perrysburg.

Mitchel’s interests in professional growth stretch far beyond his desire to grow a powerful network. He is dedicated to ongoing research on current trends in the market in order to provide suitable recommendations to his clients in an evolving economic environment. He is also known to be resourceful and detail-oriented, traits which allow him to provide strong support to clients who want thorough plans that touch everything from tax planning to managing student debt and beyond. Additionally, he has also achieved the title of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. Mitchel loves working alongside the other team members at Skotynsky Financial and feels deeply fulfilled by making daily contributions to the growth of the family business.

Mitchel grew up in Perrysburg and is delighted to be working in his hometown and providing ongoing service to the community as a church volunteer.

Outside of the office, Mitchel has a passion for travel and the great outdoors. He enjoys visiting our country’s many beautiful national parks with friends and family.
