His comprehensive planning process encompasses all key areas of financial well-being, including investment management, insurance, tax planning, employee benefits, retirement planning, and estate planning. He is known for his thoughtful guidance, clear communication, and dedication to building lasting relationships based on trust and transparency.

Before entering the financial services industry, Shelby graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. In 2025, he was recognized as a Forbes Best-in-State Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisor, a testament to his dedication to excellence and the strong relationships he’s built with his clients.

Originally from Little Rock, AR, Shelby often returns to his hometown to meet with clients at the local Raymond James office. He currently resides in Alma, AR with his wife, Mackenzie, and their daughter, Harper Kate. Outside of work, Shelby enjoys spending time in nature—whether it’s backpacking, hunting, fishing, camping, or offroading in his Jeep.
