Christopher Waddell, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional, has dedicated his career to helping employers provide financial education and to providing his clients with financial guidance for more than twenty-five years. Many of his clients are multi-generational families, with complex investment, risk management and estate planning issues. Prior to affiliating with Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., Christopher was managing principal with Waddell & Reed, Inc., where he supervised 24 financial advisors in the Mid-Atlantic area.

Christopher regularly appears in national and local media, including Business Week, CNBC, Comcast CNN, CNN Money, Exceptional Parent, and Financial Planning Magazine

In October 2014, Christopher and his 15 year old son with autism completed the Across the Chesapeake Bay 10K for the Organization for Autism Research to raise funds and awareness for autism research. He is a past president of Arlington Special Education PTA and the Autism Society of Northern Virginia. Christopher graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and English.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner®,  CFP Logo Flame Design and  CFP Logo Plaque Design in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
