Christopher Waddell, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, has dedicated his career to helping employers provide financial education and his clients with financial guidance for over thirty-five years. Many of his clients are multi-generational families with complex investment, risk management, and estate planning issues. Before affiliating with Raymond James Financial Services, Inc., Christopher was managing principal with Waddell & Reed, Inc., where he supervised 24 financial advisors in the Mid-Atlantic area. Christopher regularly appears in national and local media, including ABC World News (Genes a Major Factor in Autism), Bloomberg Business Week (Caught Between the Eldercare and Education Money Pits), CNBC (Boomer Anxiety), Comcast CNN, CNN Money (How Can I Ensure That my Autistic Daughter is Taken Care Of), Exceptional Parent (Cover: Providing for a Child with Special Needs Long Term), Financial Planning Magazine (Is Healthcare Your Next Business), REUTERS (Investment Advisers Weigh in on U.S. Financial Reform Bill), and The Washington Post (Adding Strands to an Autism SafetyNet.).

In October 2016, Christopher and his son with autism completed the Marine Corps Marathon for the Organization for Autism Research to raise funds and awareness for autism research. Christopher is a past president of the Arlington Special Education PTA and the Autism Society of Northern Virginia. He donated Project Lifesaver to the Arlington County Police Department to assist in bringing loved ones home. In 2006, he started what eventually became a national program to provide Sensory-Friendly movies for families with special needs in AMC Theatres. Christopher graduated from Georgetown University.
