From an early age, Gareth was captivated by the concept of finance, often spending hours counting the coins and dollars in his piggy bank, eager to find ways to grow his savings. This habit not only taught him the value of saving but also ignited his curiosity about how money could work for him. His interest in finance deepened when he noticed the products and brands his family used every day. He would ask himself questions about how these companies operated and how their stocks performed, sparking a desire to understand the mechanics of the stock market. This early fascination evolved into a deep understanding of financial markets, ultimately shaping his professional path.

Gareth graduated from the University of Mary Washington in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Finance. He has since earned his SIE and Series 7 licenses, further solidifying his expertise. Joining Z3 Capital Partners in late 2023, Gareth plays a pivotal role in trading, researching companies, and monitoring news that impacts the securities under management. He also assists in overseeing client portfolios, focusing on risk management. Collaborating closely with Scot Morris and Alicia Borghi, Gareth is passionate about analyzing market conditions and engaging in discussions about the factors driving the markets.

Outside of work, Gareth enjoys hiking, fishing, tennis, and has recently taken up golf. He is also known for bringing his 3-year-old Wheaten Terrier, Mona, to the office, which is always a highlight of his day.
