As a Certified Retirement Counselor^®, Rhett helps clients pursue the future they envision while educating them on investment and financial planning principles. He explains complex topics in layman’s terms and develops personal relationships through mutual respect. He empathizes and helps clients understand how each investment decision fits into the bigger picture.

He has over 16 years of industry experience and joined the FirstBank investments division in 2019. His background also includes roles at FTB Advisors, Regions Investment Solutions, First Tennessee Brokerage and Hartford Mutual Funds.

Rhett earned a B.A. in economics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He holds Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 licenses. He also holds his Life & Health Insurance licenses. He gives back as a volunteer for tnAchieves and serves on the board of Survivor Fitness Foundation. He is a 2012 graduate of Leadership Catoosa.

Born and raised in Dalton, Georgia, he lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, with his wife, Joanna, and their sons, William and Bennett. In his free time, Rhett enjoys golfing, running, fishing, working in the yard and spending time with his family.
