Merry Lyn is dedicated to helping her clients live productive and confident lives as they move up to and through their retirement years. She understands the crucial role that honest and open investment advice plays in helping them define, pursue and potentially achieve their retirement goals. Her team keeps a watchful eye on client’s wealth and overall well-being, particularly during these high stress times.

Her small-town upbringing is evident in the way she cares for and relates to people. They trust and confide in her and appreciate the diligence and devotion she applies to every aspect of their financial lives.

Before joining Raymond James in July 2015, Merry served as First Vice President and Investment Officer at Wells Fargo Advisors, a Financial Advisor at Wachovia Securities, and a Financial Consultant at A.G. Edwards & Sons.

Earlier in her career, she worked at Keebler Company for 23 years in various capacities, from Sales Representative to Regional Sales Director. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Speech from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.

Merry Lyn is a member of the Colleyville, Grapevine and Southlake Chambers of Commerce and a Grapevine Chamber Women’s Division Member. She also is involved with the Colleyville Woman’s Club. She is a past member of Mid-Cities Optimist Club, where she was a two-time “Optimist of the Year.” She supports Serving our Seniors, and serves on their Advisory Board, Mid-Cities AmBucs, Christian Veterinary Mission and various local charities.

Merry Lyn was raised with her four brothers on a dairy farm in Riley Township, Ohio, moved to Texas in 1981, and has lived in Colleyville since 1989. She has two daughters, Heather and Ashley, and four grandchildren, Breckan, Cheryl, Brooklynn and Gage.

In her free time, Merry Lyn enjoys traveling with her life partner, Jack R Alexander, the arts, working out, reading, watching old movies, rooting for the Ohio State University Buckeyes, running the occasional 5k or 10k race, and spending time with her family and friends. She is an active member of Calvary Lutheran Church in North Richland Hills.
