Scott meets with his clients to clearly define their financial objectives and map out a comprehensive plan that is aligned with their specific goals, time horizon and risk parameters. He works with business owners to help implement and oversee their 401(k) and retirement plans, to allow their employees the opportunity to pursue the goal of financial independence.
He wants his clients to have the confidence in knowing that their investments and retirement assets will be managed in a prudent, professional manner – so they can focus on what’s important in their lives.
Before joining Raymond James in July 2015, Scott was a financial advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors, senior compliance manager/privacy officer at EmCare, a financial consultant at A.G. Edwards & Sons, and an account executive at WBAP Radio.
Scott earned a bachelor’s degree in sales and management with a minor in psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is a past executive board member of the University of Texas at Arlington Alumni Association and the athletic department advisory committee.
Originally from the Kansas City area, Scott moved to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in 1977 and has lived in Grapevine since 1993. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, reading, spending time with his children, Monica and Brent, and helping with various activities through his son’s soccer team and church, First United Methodist Church of Grapevine.
