Al Valente is a founding partner of Bell & Valente, LLC; a Plano based firm founded in 2008. The advisors at Bell & Valente specialize in developing a comprehensive investment strategy specifically designed to meet each client’s individual needs.
Al holds the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, CFP® and has more than 20 years’ experience in financial planning and wealth management. His approach is to partner with each of his clients to understand their needs and create a course of action that best fits their individual goals. His specialties include investment management, 401(k) Plans, fixed income investing and insurance.
Prior to forming Bell & Valente, Al was a Vice President with Smith Barney in New Jersey and Plano. He also has worked for Avatar Associates and Dean Witter in New York.
Al has an MBA with a concentration in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Finance from Virginia Tech University.
Al is actively involved in several community organizations including currently serving as a Board Member of Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County and as an investment committee member of PISD Education Foundation. He has previously served as a Chairman of the Board for the Plano Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of his local church, and Chairman of Community Relations Commission for the City of Plano. Al was a member of Leadership Plano Class of 2007-2008.
Al is married to his wife, Hilary, for 14 years and they have three children.
