Gyles Laney is a Financial Advisor with Jeter Hrubala Wealth Strategies. She is a Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude graduate of Wofford College with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Chinese Language. Through her scholarship as a Bonner Scholar at Wofford, Gyles interned for the Mary Black Foundation in Spartanburg, primarily working with its Connect initiative by assisting with event management as well as leading a youth engagement team. Gyles also interned in Moshi, Tanzania for the organization Anza, providing micro-loans and catalyst support to local businesses that are not able to receive traditional bank financing. She also had the opportunity to intern with the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation in Washington, D.C., preparing country research briefings and constructing financial projections. Gyles has a passion for travelling and learning about other cultures, and she particularly enjoyed the time she spent in India, Africa, and China. She brings strong analytical skills and a unique perspective to our work with clients. Currently, Gyles is focused on investment research and financial planning assessments.
