Matthew's philosophy is to be a truly trusted advisor to his clients, where they are able to share their goals and desired destination in life, and he is able to guide them along the financial path to pursue those goals. Although he has over 18 years of experience and knowledge of numerous financial products, his research focus within the team is on life insurance, annuities, and unit investment trusts.
From the age of 12, he knew that he wanted to be a financial advisor. He began his career as a financial advisor with A.G. Edwards in 2001 and soon after, joined with Allen and David to form the Brinckerhoff Financial Group of Raymond James.
He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from Florida State University.
He was born in Dallas, where he lived until age 8, when the family relocated to Orlando. Today he lives in Winter Garden with his wife, Jennifer, where he enjoys weight training, softball, and is an avid dog lover.
