Building A Plan customized to you

We refer to what we do as goals-based wealth management. It simply means helping you decide what’s important in your life and then how to fund it. Our process begins with helping you set specific financial goals: income in retirement, managing debt, healthcare, travel and creating a financial legacy, for example.

From this information, we create a comprehensive financial plan – a road map designed to move you toward the successful achievement of those goals.

Once your plan is in place, we custom-design an investment portfolio for you and take on the day-to-day responsibility of managing it. When it comes to investing, we remind people often that “we eat our own cooking.” We don’t delegate investment management to third parties, and we don’t follow any so-called “gurus.” Instead, we do our own research – backed by one of the largest independent financial firms in the country – and make decisions based on what we feel is in the best interest of our clients. We take responsibility for the advice we give and the decisions we make.

Finally, we review your portfolio on an ongoing basis to track its performance. We also review and update your financial plan, especially when your goals or circumstances change, making strategic adjustments as needed.

Goal Planning & Monitoring

We make use of sophisticated planning software from Raymond James called Goal Planning & Monitoring. It enables us to enter client goals to assess appropriate asset allocation targets, spending or savings rates, and the probability of achieving those goals.

The projections or other information generated by Goal Planning & Monitoring regarding the likelihood of various investment outcomes are hypothetical in nature, do not reflect actual investment results and are not guarantees of future results. Goal Planning & Monitoring results may vary with each use and over time.
