CFP® Senior Vice President, InvestmentsDoug joined Raymond James in September 2021 after a 27-year career as a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Greenville, South Carolina. He is a Certified Financial Planner® professional and holds both a Bachelor of Science and an MBA from Clemson University.
Doug feels his mission is to help clients with their diverse financial aspirations as they navigate the various stages of life. Over the years, he has helped many clients as they plan for retirement, save for college expenses, incorporate asset inflows from inheritances or business sales, and plan for the transition of wealth to the next generation or to their favorite charity.
To better serve his clients, Doug creates personalized financial plans, aligning asset management with their short-term needs and long-term goals while carefully considering tax implications and overall portfolio risk.
Recognizing the importance of giving back, Doug has served on a variety of locals boards including the Calvary Baptist Church Stewardship Committee, Meals on Wheels of Greenville, and the Palmetto High School Booster Club.
When he’s not in the office, Doug can be found enjoying the outdoors and spending time with his wife Missy and their two adult daughters.
