As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Craig Gilmour adds another layer of expertise to the Coastal States Wealth Management team. Craig's strength in listening to his client’s current and future financial goals allow him to strategize a comprehensive financial plan and implement the investment management necessary to help achieve the client's immediate and long-term objectives. Since joining Raymond James in 2013, Craig has established relationships with clients that will last for years and include multiple generations of families. He prides himself on earning the trust of his clientele and the ability to guide their family through business ownership, retirement planning, educational planning, and other "life" planning.

Prior to joining Raymond James, Craig spent over 16 years with Standard Register as a Senior Account Executive. Leading projects with an executive team for some of the nation's largest financial institutions, Craig's implementation of long-term strategic plans for these institutions earned him the reputation as a leader in this industry. His ability to collaborate with a diverse team for an extended period was no small feat and prepared him for similar relationships in wealth management – serving each client as an individual, understanding long term goals, and collaborating with each entity to implement the strategy.

Craig is a graduate of the Columbus Academy, a prestigious college preparatory school in Columbus, Ohio, and of Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. He is also member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. In addition to the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation, Craig also holds Series 7 and 66 licenses, as well as licenses in life and health insurance.

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Craig now resides in Bluffton, South Carolina, with his wife, Kathryn; children, Caroline and Andrew; and dog, Tucker. He previously served two terms as a member of the Board of Directors for Memory Matters- a local not-for profit center of excellence which improves the quality of life for persons with dementia and their families.
