Chip has dedicated his entire career to qualified plan consulting and implementing retirement plans for corporate clients. Passionate and caring, Chip endeavors to help all employees enjoy a prosperous and dignified retirement through quality plan management.

In addition to his consulting practices, Chip has been active in Washington to help legislators navigate the complex issues facing the retirement plan industry. He works with the American Retirement Association as an industry advocate and has testified at Department of Labor hearings regarding fiduciary standards.

Chip has been affiliated with Raymond James for 26 years, and founded Corporate Advisors Group with Kevin Mahoney. He founded two companies, FiduciaryPlanReview.com, which was acquired by Envestnet in 2014, and Direct 401(k), which was founded in 2016. He was also inventor on a patent filing, which was assigned to Morningstar in 2016.

Chip is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College. Following his graduation, he served in the United States Air Force prior to beginning his career in the retirement plan industry in 1991.

Chip grew up in McLean, Virginia, and now lives in Miramar Beach, Florida, with his wife, Stacey. They have a son, Michael, who is the light of their lives. In his free time, Chip enjoys sailing and scuba diving.
