As a financial planner and investment advisor representative, Andy helps clarify each client’s vision, values, goals and mission, and provides comprehensive answers and strategies to the critical decisions regarding their wealth.

He specializes in serving small business owners and medical professionals, providing business planning, coaching and strategies that address important issues such as business succession, executive compensation and benefits planning.

Andy wants his clients to have the confidence of knowing they have a financial road map in place for pursuing their goals. In addition to comprehensive wealth and financial planning, he provides essential services such as investment portfolio design, analysis and review, retirement income planning, estate planning, and tax mitigation strategies.

Andy believes that integrity and trust are paramount in developing solid relationships, and wants his clients to know and feel that their best interest is being served.

Andy joined First Western Advisors in 2015 and works in our Salt Lake City office. He has been a financial advisor for eight years, and previously spent 18 years in the pharmaceutical industry working with physicians. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Utah.

Andy was born in Houston, Texas, but has lived in Utah for the last 44 years. He lives in Draper, Utah, with his wife, Stephanie. They have seven children, Joshua Brown, Linsey Brown, Kylie Brown, Brayden Brown, Madison Johnson, Conner Johnson and Seth Johnson.

In his free time, Andy enjoys skiing, biking, golfing, coaching football, boating and engaging in all outdoor activities. He is also a self-described football fanatic and has coached for 20 years.
