Prior to joining Raymond James in 2020, Jacob was a financial advisor with Merrill Lynch after a successful 20-year career in the U.S. Coast Guard primarily as a rescue helicopter pilot. He is a graduate of the United States Coast Guard Academy where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and his commission in the United States Coast Guard. He has also earned a Master of Science degree in Quality Systems Management from the National Graduate School.
Jacob and Kellie, his wife, have three children, Joshua, Caleb and Benjamin, and live in Layton, Utah. On the side, Jacob, a Huntsville, Alabama, native, enjoys nature through skiing, navigating Jeep trails and other outdoor activities.
