Josh is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional who enjoys helping people and having the opportunity to make a significant difference in their lives. He connects with people on a personal level, helping them address the issues that are most important to them.

His goal is to help his clients establish and reach their long-term financial goals, and to minimize the stress that can come from uncertainty about their current or future financial standing. He also makes the extra effort to ensure that his clients understand the details of any financial topic being discussed.

Josh has worked in the financial services industry since 2007 and joined First Western Advisors in 2014. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in international studies from Brigham Young University.

As a Certified Private Wealth Advisor, Josh specializes in helping high net worth individuals and families with complex planning strategies including asset protection, tax planning, asset management, charitable giving, business succession and estate and wealth transfer. He strives to make challenging situations go smoothly and create the best results for his clients while helping them reach their financial goals.

Josh was born and raised in Sandy, Utah, where he lives with his wife, Megan, and their children, Beckett, Calder and Wren. In his free time, he loves spending time with his wife and children. Josh has a passion for all things outdoors, including hiking, camping, backpacking, and snow and water skiing. He also enjoys fitness activities. Josh is an active member of the LDS church. He serves as a member of the finance committee of Spy Hop, a local nonprofit that mentor’s young people in the digital media arts.
