Cory Westerfield joined the Hendrickson Wealth & Retirement team in July 2023 as the branch director of marketing and client relations. He has a strong desire to help people and to seek opportunities to market the services the branch can offer the community.
Cory is originally from Evansville, IN. He attended Murray State University where he obtained both his undergraduate and master’s degrees in education. Before coming to Hendrickson Wealth & Retirement, Cory spent 29 years as a teacher and coach. He spent two years teaching in Covington, TN before coming to Marshall County in 1996. During those 29 years, he taught both math and German. Cory has also been the Head Coach for the MCHS Girls Track and Field Team since 2005. Along the way, he has forged many long and lasting relationships and is looking forward to continuing to do so through his new role at Hendrickson Wealth & Retirement.
Cory has been married to his wife, Jodi, for 23 years. They have two daughters. Church is a major part of Cory’s life. He currently serves as an elder at the Benton church of Christ where he also teaches Bible class and works with both the youth and college ministry programs. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends, traveling and going to dirt track car races with his dad.
