Jake, an Accredited Asset Management Specialist™, Retirement Income Certified Professional^®, and Certified Financial Planner™ professional, joined the Hilltop team in January of 2019. Jake specializes in families that are beginning their financial journeys, as well as women that have found themselves unexpectedly single, usually due to death or divorce.

Jake is a passionate and dedicated individual committed to making a positive impact on the community. For the past nine years, he has served as an Ambassador of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce, tirelessly working towards its mission and vision. In addition to this role, Jake has selflessly devoted his time and expertise to support various other non-profit initiatives. His unwavering dedication has led him to organize numerous successful fundraisers, generating much-needed resources for these organizations to further their vital causes. Through these philanthropic efforts, Jake has shown remarkable leadership, bringing together community members and businesses alike to create a lasting, positive change. His contributions have not only strengthened the non-profit sector but also inspired others to get involved in making a difference. Jake embodies the true spirit of giving back and continues to be a driving force in shaping a brighter and more compassionate future for the community. In 2019 he was awarded the IBI’s 40 under 40 award for the Peoria area.

Jake is a proud native of Davenport, Iowa, who distinguished himself academically, graduating cum laude from St. Ambrose University. During his time at the university, Jake not only excelled in his studies but also demonstrated his dedication and passion on the football field, where he played four impactful years as a defensive back for the varsity team, Go Bees! Today, Jake resides in the vibrant community of Kickapoo, alongside his loving wife, Allison, and their three wonderful children, Autumn, Ambrose, and Trever. An inseparable team, Jake and Allison often combine their talents for a greater cause, as Allison serves as the Marketing Director at Illinois CancerCare, and Jake actively volunteers his time there, cherishing every moment they get to spend together while making a difference. Outside of his philanthropic efforts, Jake indulges in his hobbies, including running, woodworking, and sharing enjoyable moments with his children while coaching them in their pursuits. His life is a vibrant tapestry of academic achievement, athletic prowess, family devotion, and community involvement, making him an inspiring and valued member of our team.
