Keith Yoder, CFA® Vice President, Investments

Keith joined the team in October 2009, bringing more than 25 years of investment management experience. His expertise in equity portfolio management and asset allocation for retirement plans and charitable foundations has added greatly to the capabilities offered by our group.

Widely experienced in investment portfolio management, he enjoys working on investment policies and new investment processes for potentially improving returns. He focuses on the tactical portfolio allocation for the group’s clients in order to help provide them with access to competitive, professional investment management services.

Keith spent nine years at Caterpillar Inc., where he was the senior portfolio manager for Caterpillar Investment Management overseeing the equity portfolios, and later, the Caterpillar Employee Benefit Funds. He also managed the Caterpillar stock repurchase program and provided in-house expertise for hedging and disposing of publicly traded stock for corporate merger and acquisition activities.

He also previously worked at Mennonite Mutual Aid in Goshen, Indiana, where he managed the investment advisory firm from inception, developed the Praxis Mutual Funds and helped grow assets under management to $1.1 billion. In addition, he spent six years as an investment officer at Society Bank in South Bend, Indiana.

Throughout his career, he has also worked closely with businesses and nonprofit organizations to develop and implement investment policies and strategies for pension plans, endowments and charitable trusts.

Keith is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of the CFA Institute and holds Series 7 and 31 licenses. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business management from Bluffton University in Ohio.

Keith has served on the board of directors of Northwoods Community Church and on the investment committee of the Central Illinois Community Foundation. He also volunteers as a financial counselor for underprivileged families.

Keith was born and raised in the small farming community of Berne, Indiana. He and his family relocated to Peoria in 2000. Today, he resides in Dunlap with his wife, Carla.
