June 2025
For those of you following along in my life through reading my blogs, I am excited to share that our house project is finished. If you weren’t aware, or didn’t read that post, go back to the Ladies First edition from January 2025. Now, let me reiterate…our house project is FINALLY over! We are so glad to be moving past it. We actually wrapped up in late April, with final inspections and walk-throughs, but we have been able to enjoy the fruits of the labor for a couple of weeks prior to that.
During the project, everything remained mostly on schedule, although, we did have both expected and unexpected bumps along the way. When the bulk of everything was complete, there was nothing more satisfying than cleaning up and moving back into our space. Not to mention that there wasn’t the constant turnstile of people in our home every day.
Now that we are past it, we have been able to sit back and reflect on the job done. Not just the workmanship, but the people we encountered as well. From the planning stages to the final clean up, we were so impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of everyone involved. We have used this company for a remodel in the past, and already had high expectations. They exceeded them.
When I have a great personal experience with a professional, I try to take a minute to reflect on what impressed me and decide if that is something I can incorporate into my professional life or share with the team.
At Kindred Financial Partners, we want to exceed expectations. We know there are things we do well, our question is, what can we do better? Quite a few years ago, we asked for this feedback through a client survey. More recently, we’ve asked some people for this feedback during our annual meeting time. We are always trying to raise the bar.
So, what do you think? What have you experienced that we should continue to do? What is something you wish we did, or we could do better? We want to hear your thoughts, your feedback, your suggestions. How can we exceed your expectations?
