* The Forbes ranking of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria and quantitative data. Those advisors who are considered have a minimum of seven years of experience, and the algorithm weighs factors like revenue trends, AUM, compliance records, industry experience and those who encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Out of 21,138 advisors nominated by their firms, 2,213received the award. This ranking is not indicative of an advisor's future performance, is not an endorsement, and may not be representative of an individual client's experience. Neither Raymond James nor any of its financial advisors or RIA firms pay a fee in exchange for this award/rating. Raymond James is not affiliated with Forbes or Shook Research, LLC.

Our business is people. Then. Now. Always. It’s easy to remember what counts most in hard times when it’s what counts most in good ones too. Through upticks, downturns, burst bubbles and historic bull markets, we’ve never lost sight of that fact that there’s a person behind every portfolio. Since 1962, people have been the heart of Raymond James. And in times like these, we return that strength.

At Raymond James, we have a straightforward approach to doing business. We believe that putting clients’ needs first is the best way to ensure their success and, in turn, the long-term success of our advisors and the company. We call this our Service 1stSM philosophy. With our strong focus on clients and our commitment to supporting those who serve them, we’ve become known as the premier alternative to Wall Street, providing the products, services and support of even the largest firms, within an environment that values strong, personal relationships.

Our business is a reflection of the people we serve. We believe diversity and inclusion create an environment where everyone feels valued and everyone can prosper, throughout the firm as well as the communities we serve.

Sticking to our core principles of client first, conservatism, independence and integrity, Raymond James has steadily grown to become one of the largest independent financial services firms in the industry, but our core values ensure we’ll never be so big that we don’t have time for what matters most: you and your family.

The markets change, but our values will always be the same. Client first is at our core, supported by conservatism, independence and integrity.
