Based on what he learns about you and your goals and an analysis of the current financial markets, Bynum designs a customized investment portfolio based on recommendations made solely with your best interest in mind. He then takes the time to explain his recommendations and, once you are comfortable with your new plan, Bynum puts it into action and monitors its performance for opportunities to adapt to life changes and new goals.

Bynum is a graduate of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He began his career in financial services in 1984 and previously spent 14 years with Smith Barney and 17 years with Capital Investment Counsel of Raleigh, NC. Today, Bynum provides financial and estate planning through the use of equities, fixed income securities, managed money, and 529 education savings plans and more through Raymond James.

Bynum is a native of Farmville, North Carolina where he still resides today. He serves as Board Chair for Vidant Health, former Board Chair of Vidant Medical Center, former Board Chair of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain, and board member of Pitt County Educational Foundation. Away from the office, Bynum also enjoys quail hunting, fishing and golf.
