Selflessly supporting our community partners

The Schmitt Group has a long history of giving back and supporting our community through annual sponsorships, charitable giving and volunteering. Here is some insight into our strategic charitable partners.

RJ Cares 2026: Making an Impact Together

At The Schmitt Group, community involvement is more than a tradition. It's an important part of who we are. Through Raymond James Cares and other volunteer initiatives, our team is proud to support organizations that strengthen lives, build connections, and create positive change.

Throughout 2026, our associates dedicated time and energy to causes that matter, including:

  • AIDS Walk New York, supporting awareness and resources for those affected by HIV/AIDS
  • God's Love We Deliver, helping provide nutritious meals to people facing serious illness
  • Trees New York, supporting efforts to preserve and grow New York City's urban canopy
  • Read Ahead, helping young students develop confidence and a lifelong love of reading
  • Community FoodBank of New Jersey, assisting programs that address hunger and food insecurity

These experiences reflect our shared commitment to service and the communities where we live and work. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with organizations making a meaningful difference every day and look forward to continuing our support in the years ahead.

Celebrating Pride Month 2026

The Schmitt Group was proud to support Pfizer’s Pride Month 2026 celebrations, beginning with our sponsorship of a LinkedIn Photo Booth at the Pride Kickoff Cocktail Party at Pfizer’s Manhattan headquarters. It was an inspiring opportunity to help associates celebrate authenticity, connection, and community.

We wrapped up the month at the Raymond James offices in New York City, joining the NY Pride Inclusion Network team to kick off NYC Pride Weekend and honor the legacy of the original Pride March. We remain committed to uplifting the LGBTQ+ community and are grateful for the allies whose unwavering support helps foster more inclusive workplaces and communities for all.

The Schmitt Group of Raymond James was a sponsor of Pfizer’s Pride Month celebration. Pfizer is not affiliated with and does not endorse the people, products or services of Raymond James.

Empowering Change: Our 2025 Commitment to Community Impact

At the Schmitt Group, giving back is part of our purpose. In 2025, we proudly supported causes that inspire connection, creativity, and compassion across our communities.

Spotlight on the Arts

Visual Arts Center of New Jersey – Spark Art’s Impact Gala

In April, we were honored to support the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey at their annual Spark Art's Impact Gala. The evening celebrated the transformative power of art and recognized Overlook Medical Center with the Changemaker Award. Funds raised will help expand the Center’s inclusive arts programming for youth, seniors, and adults with disabilities.

Making May Matter: Raymond James Cares Month

Throughout May, our team came together to support a range of impactful initiatives:

  • AIDS WALK NYC – We proudly walked alongside the NY Metro area chapter of the Raymond James Pride Inclusion Network to raise awareness and support for those affected by HIV/AIDS.
  • Read Ahead NYC – Helped young students build literacy skills and a love for reading.
  • Community Food Bank of New Jersey – Supported efforts to fight hunger and food insecurity.

Looking Ahead

These experiences remind us that real impact happens when we come together with purpose. We’re grateful for every opportunity to serve and are excited to continue building a brighter, more compassionate future—one initiative at a time.

Follow our journey as we continue to support causes that matter in 2025 and beyond.

Giving Back: Supporting Our Community in 2024

At the Schmitt Group, we believe in making a positive impact within our community. In 2024, we proudly supported several significant causes that are close to our hearts.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2024 Student Visionaries of the Year Gala

In February, we had the honor of supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) 2024 Student Visionaries of the Year annual gala. This inspiring event celebrates young leaders who are dedicated to making a difference in the fight against blood cancers. Our participation in this event underscores our commitment to supporting innovative research and patient care.

Raymond James Cares Month: May Events

During Raymond James Cares month in May, our team actively participated in multiple impactful events:

  • Volunteering for God's Love We Deliver: Our team came together to prepare meals for God's Love We Deliver, a nonprofit organization that provides nutritious, individually tailored meals to people living with serious illnesses. This experience allowed us to give back to the community and support those in need.
  • AIDS WALK NYC: We joined a committed group from branches across the NYC region to participate in the AIDS WALK NYC. This event not only raises critical funds but also increases awareness and support for those affected by HIV/AIDS.
  • Read Ahead NYC: Our team participated in Read Ahead NYC, a program dedicated to inspiring children to develop a love for reading and improve their literacy skills. This initiative aligns with our commitment to supporting educational causes.
  • Community Food Bank of New Jersey: We also took part in activities with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, helping to provide meals to those in need and addressing food insecurity within the community.

These experiences are a testament to our dedication to giving back and making a meaningful difference.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support these important causes and look forward to continuing our efforts to create a positive impact in our community.
