Marking a Milestone: The Schmitt Group’s 20th Annual West Coast Client Event
On April 25th, 2026, The Schmitt Group marked a major milestone—our 20th Annual West Coast Client Event at the iconic Parker Palm Springs.
This special event brought together clients, colleagues, and partners to celebrate two decades of partnership, growth, and shared success. It was a great opportunity to connect, reflect, and look ahead.
We were also proud to recognize Richard Ostlund as this year’s Schmitty Award winner for West Coast Ambassador. His leadership and commitment to our community make him a truly deserving honoree.

3rd Annual Ice Palace Party: A Winter Tradition With Heart
Every winter, when the Vermont nights stretch long and the snow piles high, our home in Grafton, VT comes alive for one of my favorite traditions of the year—the Ice Palace Party. What started as a small get‑together among friends has transformed into a true community celebration, powered by the incredible people who make this town feel like family.
This year’s 3rd Annual Ice Palace Party was our biggest and boldest yet. Paul and I watched in awe as clients, friends, neighbors, and longtime Graftonites bundled up, showed up, and filled the night with the kind of joy that makes winter feel electric. There’s something magical about a Vermont winter night—the crisp air, the glow of lights on fresh snow, the shared laughter that seems to bounce off the trees—and somehow, this party captures it all.
But the real heartbeat of the night isn’t the ice, the music, or the dancing. It’s the community. It’s the people who bring their warmth to the cold, who show up year after year ready to celebrate connection, friendship, and the spirit of Grafton. Their energy is what turns this gathering into a tradition, and their generosity and good vibes are what keep us inspired to make each year bigger than the last.
The Ice Palace Party has become more than an event—it’s a living expression of what we value most: authentic relationships, shared experiences, and a place where everyone feels welcome. And yes… we’re already dreaming up Ice Palace Party 4.

Ice Palace Party - 2025
19th Annual East Coast Client Event at LOKAL
On April 28th, 2024, The Schmitt Group of Raymond James hosted our 19th Annual East Coast Client Event at LOKAL restaurant in Jersey City, NJ. The event was a resounding success, filled with delicious cuisine, fantastic music, and the spectacular views of NYC that only LOKAL can offer. Our incredible clients enjoyed an evening of camaraderie, celebration, and an unforgettable experience.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who attended and made this event such a memorable occasion. We look forward to announcing our 20th Annual event details to be announced this summer!
19th Annual West Coast Client Event at Casa del Mar
On November 2, 2024, The Schmitt Group hosted our 19th Annual West Coast Client Event at the luxurious Casa del Mar Hotel in Santa Monica, CA. The evening was truly magical, with local cuisine, sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, and the company of our amazing clients. The event provided an opportunity to celebrate and connect with our valued clients, making it a night to remember.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this event. We look forward to announcing our 20th Annual event details to take place next spring, this fall. Stay tuned!

2023 Year End Video
Annual West Coast Client Event @ Malibu Farm, Malibu, CA on October 28, 2023 – The Schmitt Group looks to the future! Our clients enjoyed SoCal organic coastal cuisine and custom cocktails and listened to phenomenal music mixed by our extraordinary DJ. The evening was made complete with hologram effects and animated bots to introduce The Schmitt Group's new custom branding first to our clients.
RJCares on May 17th, 2023 for RJCares Month – The Schmitt Group gathered at Gods Love We Deliver in lower Manhattan to prepare over 200 meals to be sent all across NYC. Mission: Meals that heal, delivered with love.
THE MISSION OF GOD’S LOVE WE DELIVER is to improve the health and well-being of men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other serious illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. We prepare and deliver nutritious, high-quality meals to people who, because of their illness, are unable to provide or prepare meals for themselves. We also provide illness-specific nutrition education and counseling to our clients, families, care providers and other service organizations. All of our services are provided free to clients and with love.
Annual East Coast Client Event @ Manhatta, NYC on March 12, 2023 – The Sky's the Limit was the theme of our 18th Annual East Coast Client Event at the premier NYC restaurant in the sky, Manhatta on Wall Street. Clients enjoyed cocktails and dinner prepared by a renowned New York City chef and incomparable views of Manhattan and the boroughs.
