Dan was born in Belgium, however, spent the majority of his childhood in Lexington and South Chatham, Massachusetts. He graduated with majors in history and political science from Colgate University, where he was also a member of the rowing team. He then spent 10 years on Capitol Hill working in the U.S. House of Representatives for a member of the tax-writing Committee on Ways and Means. Following graduate school in business and marriage to a native of Louisville, Dan and his bride moved to Kentucky in 2008. He has served the investment and planning needs of his advisory-based wealth management clientele since 2008, and with Stock Yards Bank & Trust Company since 2011. A father of four well-behaved children, Dan spends most of his waking, non-work moments with his family.
