KATHY C. ATKINS, a CPA, graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1981 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. After graduation, she worked in New Orleans with a regional accounting firm, Bourgeois, Bennett, Thokey & Hickey before moving back home to Clarksdale. She moved to Oxford, MS with her husband, Randy, and their youngest daughter in June, 2015. She has worked for Barnes-Pettey Financial Advisors since 1987.

Kathy is the accountant for Barnes-Pettey. She also assists Dudley and Holmes and helps clients and their CPA's with tax questions. Kathy also assists in the quarterly reporting provided by Barnes-Pettey Financial Advisors.

Kathy is married to Randy, who owns and manages Atkins Office Supply. They have two sons, three daughters, and four grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her family, walking and hiking with her husband, reading, traveling, and working in her yard.
