Michael joined Morgan Keegan in 2005, now Raymond James, and shortly after, joined the Bermont Gold Wealth Advisory. As a partner, portfolio manager and Accredited Asset Management Specialist, Michael works with Peter in developing and executing the overarching portfolio management theses and company-specific investment ideas.
Michael has a bachelor’s degree in international economics and a master’s degree in international business from the University of Florida. Having studied in both Italy and France, his academic background combined with his global perspective results in a unique understanding of the interconnectivity of worldwide commerce.
Michael has earned the Private Wealth Advisor1 designation from Raymond James. This designation reflects his experience in managing the financial concerns of families, individuals and organizations of significant wealth, and his mastery of methods and resources necessary to support their expansive financial interests.
Michael is committed to effecting positive change in the local community. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the board of trustees at HistoryMiami Museum, as a trustee of the Coral Gables Pension Advisory Board, a $400 million fund, on the board of the Health Foundation of South Florida and as President of The 200 Club of Miami.
Michael was born and raised in South Florida. Today, he lives in South Miami with his wife, Susana, and his sons, Benjamin and Tobias. In his free time, Michael enjoys golf and volunteering.
