Kevin is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ who knows the power and importance of having a plan. Whether it is a comprehensive financial plan covering all aspects in a client’s life and estate, or simply trying to figure out the best time to take Social Security, Kevin believes the words of Benjamin Franklin “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail”.
Kevin began investing at an early age when his parents opened a small UGMA account for his college education. When Kevin reached high school, his dad sat him down with the business section of the Atlanta Journal and explained how stocks and bonds worked. Thanks to the roaring stock market of the 80s and 90s, Kevin saw first-hand the power of compounding returns.
Kevin is a native Georgian who attended the University of Georgia before graduating with honors from Piedmont College. He joined Carson Advisory in 2011 and currently lives in Watkinsville with his wife and two daughters.
