Applying a global perspective to the management of wealth

Joseph Klauzar, the founder of Chartwell AMG, has worked as a global investment manager for more than 25 years and has a broadly diversified business and professional background.

His extensive international experiences gives him a deep understanding of the workings of the major world economies, and insights into how international forces affect the financial markets, necessary to investing in the global economy. He served as a liaison for the White House, the U.S. State Department, and the Japanese delegation at the 1990 Economic Summit of Industrialized Nations.

He also has extensive academic experience. He serves on the faculty of the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and California State University Long Beach. He earned an MBA in finance from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, A Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) from Sol Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree with dual majors in Asian studies (Mandarin Chinese) and East Asian Languages (Japanese) from the University of California at Berkeley.

His extensive academic, international, political and professional experiences have enabled him to bring a global perspective to investing that proves valuable to him in the selection and recommendation of individual equities.
