Jordan Funt

Financial Advisor

Since 2008, Jordan has helped his clients pursue financial well-being with plans and investments contoured to their goals. He believes each benefits from his dedication to research, and his approach to personalized whole-life financial planning that combines noninvestment strategies – like cash management and insurance needs analyses – with a wide range of investment opportunities. Jordan’s aim is to provide our clients with advice beyond investing.

His role includes managing clients’ financial plans through our Goal Planning and Monitoring program, analyzing equity and fixed income positions as well as finding strategic opportunities through alternative investments. His depth of experience across the capital markets helps identify and access opportunities and build effective investment strategies for institutional and accredited individual investors. His technical skills are elevated by his ability to communicate clearly and with warmth. His goal is to make his clients confident with a financial strategy they understand. Responsiveness is just as important for building his clients’ confidence and encourages routine communication and strategy sessions.

Jordan is a graduate of Wesleyan University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science. Prior to Raymond James, Jordan worked with other investment firms including UBS and Smith Barney (now Morgan Stanley). In 2015, he partnered with Larry Gonnello at Deutsche Bank Alex. He currently holds Series 7, 66 and 31 licenses in addition to a Life, Health and Variable Annuities Insurance license from the state of Florida.

Volunteerism and giving back are important to Jordan, who is a member of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Palm Beach and the Coastal Conservation Association.

In his free time, Jordan is a professional tournament fisherman, competing as a member of a sponsored team. He is also a former Team USA lacrosse player who competed in the 1999 World Games. Jordan keeps his connection to the sport by coaching youth lacrosse. Outside of competitive endeavors, Jordan takes advantage of what the great outdoors has to offer.

Jordan is originally from Setauket, New York, and now lives in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, with his wife, Holly, and their two children.
