Lawrence Gonnello

Senior Vice President, Investments Branch Manager

Drawing from his 20-plus years of industry experience, Larry spends his days working closely with clients to develop a profound understanding of their ever-evolving financial landscapes. His service is rooted in one core belief: every client is unique. It’s in that spirit that he provides personalized, holistic financial guidance on everything from investing to fulfilling clients’ philanthropic legacies.

Honest and empathetic, Larry prides himself in being a man of his word and cultivating relationships based on trust with the families and individuals he serves. As a partner in a six-person advisory team and the branch manager of 15 financial advisors, he also has highly specialized knowledge as both a financial advisor and corporate leader. In addition, while Larry proudly serves a wide range of clients, most of his clientele has experienced a major liquidity event, which has given him an in-depth understanding of how to navigate similar situations.

Larry, who holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from Pennsylvania’s Susquehanna University, was partly inspired to pursue a career in finance by a family friend who was a highly successful financial advisor. Growing up, Larry became fascinated by the markets and the possibility of working with people to pursue their financial goals. He turned his aspirations into a reality by starting his career with Merrill Lynch in New York City in 1997 and joining Morgan Stanley (formerly Smith Barney) in 1999. During his 14 years with the firm, he served as a financial advisor, sales manager and branch manager. In 2013, Larry transitioned to Deutsche Bank Securities, which was eventually acquired by Raymond James, a firm Larry values for its respect toward financial advisors and dedication to support them at every level.

Outside of the office, Larry makes it a priority to be active in his community. He is president of the board of directors for HomeSafe, a nationally accredited nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting victims of child abuse and domestic violence. You can also find him working as a volunteer baseball coach with the Jupiter Tequesta Athletic Association, where his two sons play.

Originally from New Jersey, Larry moved to Jupiter, Florida, in 2004. He makes his home with his wife, Cara, and their three children, Julia, Matthew and Owen. Aside from spending time with his beautiful family, Larry enjoys offshore fishing, golf and playing the guitar.
