Lewis lives in his hometown of Corpus Christi. He is active in the community as a board member for the Salvation Army and a member of the Corpus Christi Rotary Club. He enjoys hunting, fishing, bird-watching, gardening and playing dominoes with his friends and family. Lewis and his wife, Cindy, have been married for 37 years and have two children, Austin and Kimberly. Lewis and Cindy are members of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church.
