Erin Cresko

Erin Cresko,

AAMS®, FPQP Senior Financial Planning Consultant

Erin Cresko epitomizes the saying, “If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it.” This Page Group consultant, wife and mother brings energy and drive to everything she does.

A “Utility Player”

The primary focus of my job is financial planning. I create strategies for individuals and their families by exploring every aspect of their lives – both personally and financially – to determine where we can help. Is it estate planning? Fine-tuning their tax return? Investments? What is their risk profile? How are they saving? What is their budget? I love looking at their overall financial picture and making it better.

On any given day, I perform a wide range of services and participate in different steps of the financial planning process. By getting involved in all different aspects of the business, I can offer our clients more in a knowledge-based way and bring that strength to the team.

The team mentality inspires Erin at work and in her personal life.

Coach Cresko

I coach numerous activities for my children – basketball, cross country, softball, soccer and even some seasons of cheer. For me, it’s an opportunity to be with my kids and to know their friends. If you’re going to be at the game, why not help out? It’s so awesome to see the potential in each person and help them live up to that.

Erin’s also active in teaching children the basics of finance.

An Investment in the Future

I’ve done presentations at schools, getting students excited about stocks and investing. Some of them will go home and tell their parents. Afterward, I’ll get messages from moms asking, “What did you do? Now my kid wants to buy Nike and Disney stocks!” The most important lesson I try to teach kids – especially my own – is that there is a big difference between a “need” and a “want.”

Since graduating from Muhlenberg College in 2000, Erin’s been a key member of the Page Group. She credits founder George Page with showing her the ropes, calling him a great role model.

Here to Help

I’ve always wanted to help people. At college, I majored in psychology with a minor in sociology. Sometimes, when I am talking clients through difficult and major life decisions, there is more psychology to my job than finance. I enjoy designing tailor-made solutions. Whether it’s telling people, “You’ve saved enough – go travel!” or strategizing how to make them more financially secure, I want to help each client live their dream.

Professionally and personally, Erin believes in the value of saving. It’s a lesson she learned at an early age.

Save Today, be financially confident

My parents never talked directly about money, but when it came to spending, they always kept an eye to the future. As an adult, I have a deep appreciation for the example my parents set. When working with our clients, I strive to come up with solutions they can use throughout their lives, whether it’s reducing lifestyle expenses, working longer or delaying Social Security. Whatever I can do to help them be financially confident.
