After a long tenure of working in corporate America, in both large and small companies, serving in roles of financial management and ownership, I made a career change. I wanted to work in a role that I could leverage my knowledge and experience of finance, accounting and tax to improve people’s lives by helping them pursue their hopes and dreams.
After determining that, as a financial advisor and planner, I could accomplish my professional objectives, I immediately invested time to enhance my ability to serve my clients by taking advanced training in areas of business succession planning, investment management and comprehensive wealth planning. As a result, I earned the accreditations of a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) to supplement my background as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Being part of the team of Sagamore Wealth Advisors, allows us to use our broad and deep experiennce in various areas of Comprehensive Wealth Management and Planning to collectively serve our clients’ needs. My primary role on the team is focused on serving our business owner clients in helping them develop successful succession plans and to monetize the equity they have developed in their business - at the time and in the manner of their choosing.
When I’m not serving our clients, I enjoy spending time with my family and pursuing my favorite hobbies of Pickleball, Baseball and Reading. My wife, Cathy, and I have been married for 30 years and are blessed with three children (Gina, Nick and Matt), one son in law (Colin) and two grand dogs (Furio and Walle) !
