Jonathan serves high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth business owners and professionals.
He approaches each client’s situation with care and compassion, applying the analytical skills he gained from his MBA training and corporate experience.
He strives to address all essential areas of wealth management, from retirement planning to risk management, and even specialized areas such as the hedging and monetization of concentrated stock positions.
He works closely with his clients to explain and implement strategies to address various challenges in the areas of business transactions, estate planning, taxes, insurance, credit and income planning. He closely follows current market and economic developments and proactively makes the appropriate adjustments to his planning and investment strategies.
His clients value his compassion and empathy, as well as his ability to convey complex matters in a manner that makes them understandable and actionable.

He holds several key professional credentials that help him serve the specific and complex needs of his clients. As a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, he has attained the prestigious CFP® certification, a recognized standard of excellence in personal financial planning.
He is also a Certified Exit Planning Advisor who works closely with owners of privately held companies to have value-added conversations around growth and exit. The CEPA program is the most widely accepted and endorsed professional exit planning program in the world.
As an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, Jonathan has extensive knowledge in key areas such as company retirement plan distributions, plan design and implementation, plan establishment and operation, and fiduciary issues.
Jonathan has worked in the financial services industry since 2002. He and Alex Moore moved the financial practice to Raymond James in 2018.

Previously, Jonathan worked at Wells Fargo Advisors, where he was a first vice president of wealth management. Earlier in his career, he facilitated credit solutions for individuals and families while employed by American Pacific Mortgage and PHH Mortgage. He holds an MBA from Santa Clara University’s Leavey School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Jonathan is originally from Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area and now lives on Bainbridge Island in Washington. He has been happily married for 25-plus years and has two adult children.
Jonathan is a scuba diver and aquarist who also enjoys photography, backpacking and travel. He also has lifelong involvement in the Boy Scouts of America organization.
