When working with his clients, Jake’s goal is to provide a financial beacon for their lives, a comprehensive plan not only for their investments, but to manage risks, plan for taxes, take advantage of job-related benefits, prepare for retirement and have confidence in their legacies.

This is a hands-on and personalized service, one intended to provide his clients with a keen understanding of where they are, where they’re going and how they can set out on a path aligned with their goals. His experience and personability help his clients understand their options and take ownership of their financial journeys – making it easier for them to make decisions with confidence.

In addition to earning a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from Binghamton University, Jake completed and continues to maintain his designation as a Certified Financial PlannerTM professional, a rigorous course of study with continuing education and ethical standards. Additionally, he has earned the Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM designation.

Jake is a former professional golfer in a career where he took four wins on the professional tour and hit six holes-in-one. In college, he was the only NCAA golf individual qualifier in his university’s history. He continues to play golf for the joy of it, as well as tennis and pickleball. Other than sport, Jake also enjoys traveling, the beach and cheering on the Buffalo Bills. He is a native of Buffalo and currently lives in Williamsville.

In his civic life, Jake is and has been a volunteer for organizations close to his heart. He is currently a member of the Buffalo Jewish Federation board. In 2019, the federation presented him with its Emerging Leadership Award*. He has also served as the president of Nickel City Jews and was a volunteer with First Tee of Western New York.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner,  CFP Logo Flame Design and  CFP Logo Plaque Design in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
