We aim to simplify our clients’ financial lives. We will offer prudent holistic financial planning advice and guidance for our clients as part of a long-term relationship, and we will put their interests first. We will listen to our clients with understanding and empathy, be our authentic selves with our clients, and encourage open and ongoing dialogue. We will not shy away from having the necessary, difficult conversations with clients about their behaviors in financial decision-making. We will create thoughtful strategies for our clients to help them meet their financial goals.
We will remember our clients’ monies and goals are their monies and goals, not our monies and goals. We will be professional; clear communicators; and transparent about costs, risks, and advantages and disadvantages of different strategies. We will be our clients’ advocates. We will educate our clients to empower them to make well-informed decisions about their money. We will provide quality client service; with the awareness we are far from perfect in our execution, we will take ownership of our mistakes and be open to feedback and criticism when we fall short. We will maintain a small practice, by design, to afford us time to proactively assist, and react quickly to and be present for, clients when they need us. Recognizing we are not the ideal fit for everyone, we will carefully select new clients for our practice who are the right fit for our services and our style of holistic financial planning.
