Randy L. Halfpop is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner and has an advanced degree in financial planning. He co-founded The Compass Wealth Group in 2011. Randy has been an independent financial planner working with private clients and organizations for over 22 years. Randy is a member of the Financial Planning Association™.

Randy provides comprehensive financial planning to individuals, families, business owners, and provides investment consulting work for foundations and trusts. His expertise includes finding solutions for clients in the areas of proper investment asset allocation; long-term care, life and disability insurance needs; college education planning; and retirement cash flow planning. Additionally, as the practice’s head of Operations, Randy is responsible for formulating and implementing the investment philosophy and guidelines we use to monitor and manage client assets.

Randy is a member of the Cheyenne Sunrise Rotary Club, a previous member of the CSU Extension Advisory Board and a previous committee member for the Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity Board. Randy is a retired Air Force veteran with over 24 years of military service.

Randy holds a Master’s of Science degree with an emphasis in financial planning from the College for Financial Planning, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from The University of Iowa.

His family includes his wife, Tina, and their West Highland Terrier, Guthrie.
