• Brian Vargo, AAMS®, AIF®

    Managing Partner, WWM

    Financial Advisor, RJFS

A lifelong Vermonter, Brian graduated from St. Michael’s College, where he majored in Business, explored an interest in music history, and competed on the varsity cross-country ski team. After beginning his career with a Raymond James office in Burlington, Brian returned to his Bennington County roots when he joined the Manchester office - now Watershed Wealth Management.

In both his personal and professional lives, Brian engages with topics from top to bottom. While he enjoys mornings afield fishing the local rivers, he spends at least as much time engaged in hands-on habitat improvement work at his farm and taking on leadership roles for conservation nonprofits. Brian has served as a trustee of the Merck Forest & Farmland Center, as a member of the board at the Bennington County Conservation District, and as a board member of the Southwestern Vermont chapter of Trout Unlimited. On the farm, Brian practices regenerative agriculture and has implemented extensive riverbank soil conservation measures. The fruits of this effort are shared with the youth and disabled veterans who visit every spring and fall. Brian and his wife share their home with Boykin spaniels and a rotating cast of friends visiting from out of town.
