Clients and advisors alike can rely on Donna to serve as their advocate. Her goal is to work with clients as they plan for their lives – whether it’s helping send their children and grandchildren off to college or creating ideal retirement plans. Donna works with clients to simplify matters such as investments and withdrawals, providing reliable strategies and knowledgeable answers that help empower them.
Donna began her career in the financial services industry in 1980 by accepting a position with A.G. Edwards & Sons when she was just 19 years old. In 2008, the company was bought by Wachovia Securities and then, a year later, by Wells Fargo Advisors. Through all of these company changes, Donna has filled various roles, including operations, office management, securities and supervision – and has excelled in each.
In addition to her vast and diverse experience, Donna has completed rigorous securities licensing exams to earn her Series 7 and Series 9/10 securities licenses. She has also researched state-specific insurance policies, compliance and conversion through multiple computer systems and operations. Since joining Raymond James in 2018, Donna looks forward to using her knowledge and skills to continue providing exceptional client service. She believes Raymond James is devoted to putting clients first and offers effective resources to help her team meet clients’ investment needs.
Donna was left devastated in June 2018 when she lost her husband of 38 years to pancreatic cancer. Only one month before, they had become grandparents for the first time. In spite of these life-altering experiences, Donna hopes to use her perseverance to help and empathize with clients who have experienced similar tragedies.
A native Arkansan, Donna was born in Salem and raised in Mountain Home, where she still lives today. She has one son, Steven, who has a daughter named Ruby Belle with his wife, Ashley. When she’s not spending time with her granddaughter, son and daughter-in-law, Donna enjoys gardening, reading, exploring local lakes and rivers, and photography. She also serves as caregiver of her mother and father-in-law, who are in a nursing home.
