Ben Bistline,

Benjamin (Ben) is passionate about helping individuals and families align their finances with their goals and objectives. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Ben spends the bulk of his time working with clients on their financial planning needs. He aspires to act, if possible, as a client’s personal CFO and minimize the time and stress of managing the family finances. He is closely involved in our investment and portfolio research as a member of our advisory team. Ben is also a partner and part owner of Metis Wealth Advisory Group.

Prior to joining our team in 2009, Ben was the Operations Manager and Investment Analyst for another local advisory firm. He graduated from Portland State University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and holds two additional undergraduate degrees in the field of Computer Science. He also earned an Executive Financial Planning graduate certificate from the University of Portland in 2011.

Ben has always lived in the Pacific Northwest and currently resides in Beavercreek, Oregon. He has been married to his wife, Shannon, since 2006 and together they have four extremely active children: Lexie, Aria, Ava, and Alder. The family spends much of their time outdoors camping, hiking, biking, or finding a body of water to enjoy. After work, Ben can often be found in his woodworking shop or doing projects around the house. He is also active in his church community and serves as a board member for Eagle Fern Camp in Estacada, Oregon.
