Ryan Ransom,

Ryan strives to be the best man, husband, and father possible, and to help others become the best versions of themselves. His mission in life is to love others and make a positive impact in their lives. As a result, he helps a select group of highly successful professionals and business owners who aspire to make a positive impact, live a life of excellence, and leave a legacy for their family and community.

As a financial advisor, his goal is to understand what’s important to you, using an established process to help you organize, build, insure and one day transfer your wealth successfully.

Ryan began his career as a financial advisor at Edward Jones in August of 2015 and was there until January of 2022. He earned the AAMS® professional designation in December of 2018 from the College for Financial Planning. In 2021, he became a CFP® professional*, and in early 2022, earned the Chartered Financial Consultant® designation through the American College for Financial Planning. In January of 2022, he transitioned his business and affiliated with Raymond James Financial Services as an independent financial advisor, teaming up with Oak Crest Advisors.

Originally from Virginia, Ryan has lived in Texas since 2003. he attended the University of North Texas and graduated magna cum laude in 2007 with a bachelor’s in music education. Music is still a big part of his life and his wife, Amanda, is still a music educator. They have three children, Charlotte, Michael, and Eleanor and have lived in the Austin area since 2008. Active in his church community, St. Vincent de Paul, Ryan lectors on Sunday mornings and is a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoys spending time with his family and friends, music, climbing, good food, movies, and a good book.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner,  CFP Logo Flame Design and  CFP Logo Plaque Design in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
