Fred Fryer Bio Image

Fred S. Fryer,

CFP® Financial Advisor, RJFS Founder, Fryer Wealth Planning

Before he became a financial advisor, Fred was a client of one. For 15 years Fred’s financial advisor helped him organize his finances and investments to send his son to college, invest in real estate and pursue lasting financial well-being. With that experience, he learned how beneficial it was to have a steady guide on his team, and that enduring wealth was about more than just the performance of stocks and bonds.

This experience inspired a career change. Now, Fred is the trusted, steady professional providing guidance to his clients pursuing their lifelong goals. With every interaction with his clients, he aims to simplify things that seem complicated with clear, effective communication. He works to put their interests first – he is a strong believer in the golden rule.

For his clients, Fred offers guidance for all of their financial decisions, including investing, savings, retirement planning and debt reduction. He makes the effort to help his clients understand how their investments, retirement goals, assets and daily spending fit into their overall financial well-being.

Prior to joining Raymond James in 2022, Fred’s practice was affiliated with Edward Jones. He was attracted to Raymond James for its broad wealth management and investment capabilities and its commitment to advisor independence in doing what’s right for their clients.

Fred is a graduate of Central Missouri State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English. He has also earned the Certified Financial Planner professional designation, a rigorous program with initial and continuing educational, examinational and ethical requirements.

Outside the office, Fred says he has become a professional hole digger for his wife, Shelley, who is an avid gardener. When he’s not toiling in a planter, you’ll find him enjoying time with his family and friends, building things and completing projects, playing a little golf and following college baseball.

He and Shelley have two children, Andrew and Anna Catherine. He is originally from Southwest Missouri, and they have lived in Northwest Arkansas for nearly 30 years.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner®, and CFP® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization's initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
