Gene is driven by adventure. He seeks to facilitate his clients’ freedom to explore the world and experience life to its fullest extent. To him, financial freedom is the freedom to do what we want. It’s the removal of obstacles that stand in the way of opportunity.
Gene received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Colorado Boulder. Following a career coaching ski racing at the national and Olympic levels, Gene found his calling in financial services. He realized that his ability to help others pursue their financial goals could increase their potential to add joy to their lives. He strives to assist his clients in pursuing their goals by aligning their values with their money in a way that enables them to enjoy the same levels of freedom and adventure that he holds so dearly.
Gene resides in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, with his wife, Julie, and their children, Leela and Cal. Gene is currently an active member of the Steamboat Springs community, coaching high school track and field as well as mentoring youth in the Yampa Valley. Outside of work Gene enjoys hunting, fly fishing and spending time with his family in the outdoors.
