Brian Turpen

Brian Turpen,

CFP® Vice President, Wealth Management Financial Advisor

“If this were my money, what would I do?” This is the guiding question behind Brian’s work as an advisor, inspiring him to apply his wealth of knowledge to help clients make the most of their hard-earned money. Led by his sense of integrity, Brian makes it a point to always do what he believes is best for his clients – and what he would want someone to do for him. It’s in that spirit that he gets to know his clients on a personal level – from their long-term goals to their biggest concerns – and explains complex or intimidating financial topics to help them make empowered, informed decisions.

Brian was inspired to join the financial services field after the unexpected death of his father. At the time, Brian was still in high school and he, his mother and siblings were left financially unprepared for the road ahead. While putting himself through school, Brian made a promise to himself that he would help people as much as possible so they could avoid the financial struggles his family experienced.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts and earned his Certified Financial Planner designation from Rice University in 2011. He started his financial advisor career in 2005 and joined Raymond James in 2022.

Originally from southeast Texas, Brian and his family reside in his home state in the city of Tomball. He and his wife, Kristen, have two children named Rees and Reagan. Aside from spending time with his beautiful family, Brian enjoys reading and barbecuing.
